Event Information

You are invited by the Lazy River team to experience fresh, local produce at a 5-course dinner in our stunning, boutique events centre. Your taste buds will be sent into overdrive as our chef, Stephanie Hendriks serves up 5 courses created from local produce from the region.

Enjoy a classic long table, open air, paddock to plate dining experience in our stunning boutique function centre overlooking the Macquarie River

‘Flavours ON the Farm’ is a whole food experience held on the banks of the Macquarie River at Lazy River Estate in Dubbo. Our head Chef, Stephanie Hendriks, will send your senses into overdrive, serving up five courses created from delicious produce. 


Starter:  King George whiting escabeche w lemon myrtle oil, desert limes, and crusty bread

Entrée: Ground grass-fed chicken and freekah salad seasoned w bush tomato and dressed w honey soaked Davidson plums

Pallet Cleanser: Desert lime sorbet sprinkled w wild hibiscus *or melon or hibiscus sorbet

Main: Saltbush seasoned emu loin w kutjera relish, wattleseed roasted macadamias and fried enoki Bowls of warrigal greens/rocket, muntrie & fig salad to the center of the table

Dessert: Wattleseed and honey cake w quondong mascarpone and crushed pistachios

5-course $99 per person (includes wine tasting)
