Event Information

Come along and enjoy a day of country racing at its best at the 2021 Boorowa Picnic Races.

 The annual Boorowa Picnic Races will be held on Saturday 01 May 21 at the Boorowa Showgrounds. Gates open 11am with the first race commencing at 1pm.

Following the devastating impacts that 2020 had on community events, the Boorowa Amateur Picnic Race Club is working hard to ensure this year’s event meets all COVID-19 restrictions.

 Event Highlights

  • 6 race program
  • Fashions on the Field
  • Betting arena with local and metro bookmakers
  • Public bar serving beer and an onsite BBQ. Please note, it is a condition of entry to the race course that no glass is brought in by those attending
  • BYO mid-strength can and/or plastic drinks are permitted
  • There are no ATM facilities onsite.

 This event is family friendly and is an event the whole family can enjoy.

Terms & Conditions

Ticketing Terms and Conditions:

  • All prepurchased tickets will be scanned, a clearly printed ticket displaying the QR code or available on a smart phone device. Each patron is to have their own ticket ready on entering the venue. Online booking fees and charges may apply.
  • Listed prices are on a per person basis. 
  • Unless required to by law NO REFUND OR EXCHANGE will be given except for in the unlikely circumstances of cancellation of the event by the organiser. Refund liability is limited to the total amount of the Ticket purchase (including any fees or charges). The seller is not liable for expenses incurred as a result of the cancellation. 
  • If the event is cancelled due to adverse weather, ticket holders will be notified in writing and refunds will be issued by 123 Tix
  • Entry may be refused if tickets are damaged, duplicated or defaced in any way or are not purchased from direclty from 123 Tix

Conditions of Entry:

  • This is an All Ages Event.
  • ID may be required.
  • All patrons enter and use the complex at their own risk including the risk of any injury, death, theft, loss or damage.
  • All persons will be required to social distance other then direct family members or as outlined by the Health NSW. Please keep 1.5 metres clearance from other people who don’t live in the same household as you.
  • Any ticket holder that is unwell or have cold or flu-like symptoms. The advice from Health NSW is that you should stay home.
  • Hygiene and cleaning procedures have been and will be implimented to keep all patrons and our venue staff safe.
  • Purchaser information may be shared with health authorities for contact tracing should any attendee test positive to COVID 19.
  • Our toilets have a limited capacity and patrons are asked to be distant at all times (i.e. remain 1.5 metres apart)
  • Children must be supervised at all times by a responsible Guardian over the age of 21.
  • Tickets must be retained at all times and you should only hold the ticket in your name.
  • You must follow signs and instructions at all times
  • All drinks to be in cans or plastic bottles.
  • Camping forbidden at track.
  • Track is to be vacated by 11:00pm.
