Event Information

On 27th July – Molly’s 12th birthday, she traveled from her hometown of Dubbo to Westmead Children’s Hospital in Sydney for a range of tests after noticing a pain in her knee.
On 2nd August, Molly was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, a form of bone cancer which most commonly occurs in children and young adults.
Molly commenced chemotherapy 10th August.

For those for us that know and love Molly Croft, know that she is a beautiful, strong and positive young lady. This diagnosis means lots of changes for The Crofts as they adjust to this news and what it will mean for them in the coming months. Both John and Angela, Molly’s parents, own their own businesses locally in Dubbo and will need to be away from home indefinitely to ensure that Molly gets the best treatment, love, and care that she needs to kick this cancer to the curb.

The Dubbo community has come together as a united front an is hosting a 'Fundraising Gala Dinner' on Saturday 13th October, proudly supported by 'Men of League' and the sporting communities of Dubbo. All monies raised will assist The Crofts with accommodation, travel, medical and household expenses so that they can focus their energy on the health of their little girl. The Crofts have also pledged to donate a percentage of funds raised to Ronald McDonald House, who have been outstanding with providing accommodation and a level of normality for The Croft Family while they battle this cancer together.

If you have any questions or would like to donate please do not hesitate to contact Gabrielle Nicholls, or Jim Kelly, or visit…/mollys-army-supporting-molly-and-the-…

Our sincere thanks in advance for your support of a young girl who has big dreams to return home to Dubbo - cancer free.
