Event Information

The UNE Farming Futures Schools Program offers High School Students an insight into tertiary career options in agriculture. The Schools Program will be held on Thursday the 29th of July, 2021 at the University of New England's Kirby Smart Farm. The program consists of a series of short sessions from current and past UNE students, UNE staff and professionals working in various areas of agriculture. There will also be interactive sessions and time to explore the Farming Futures Careers Fair. These activities are aimed at giving students a broad overview of why agriculture is a rewarding and valuable industry to be involved in and how a tertiary education can take students further in this field.

Approximate run times are 12:00pm to 4:30pm with Afternoon tea and lunch provided.

This event is FREE to all schools but we do require accurate numbers in advance to ensure we are COVID safe compliant, everyone is catered for and the event can be run smoothly. Please note, limited numbers available.

Registration will close Wednesday the 18th of August, 2021. Don't miss out - register today!

We are looking forward to seeing you all.

Kind Regards,

Emily & Katie
