Event Information

Writing the Senses: an online workshop with Patti Miller for Dubbo Writers' Festival

Due to the current lockdown across NSW, Dubbo Writers’ Festival has moved online

Learn how to bring colour and depth to your writing through re-creating the sight, sound, smell, taste and texture of the world.

Patti Miller is a world renowned authority on writing memoir and family stories, specialising in teaching memoir and non-fiction writing since 1991, memoir workshops in London and Paris and writing at universities since 1984. She’s the author of three books about writing, Writing Your Life, The Memoir Book and Writing True Stories, a novel and five memoir/creative non-fiction books. Patti Miller grew up on Wiradjuri land in Central West NSW.

Patti suggests it would be helpful if particpants had a copy of 'Writing True Stories’.
