Event Information

Surviving Submission Spur: Audience tickets. Dubbo Writer's Festival

Due to the current lockdown across NSW, Dubbo Writers’ Festival has moved online.

Please book to participate as an audience member. Contact Outback Writers' Centre at the address below if you have a chapter you wish to submit.

Just being in the audience for this panel will gain you valuable insight into how to keep an editor turning the page of your manuscript.

For an opportunity to have your work commented on by industry professionals, send your polished first chapter to by midnight AEST, Friday 10th September.

The best six manuscripts will be presented anonymously to panelists Anna Blackie (Pantera Press) Margrete Lamond (Dirt Lane Press) and David Reiter (IP Publishing).

If you have a polished first chapter of your unpublished novel or memoir, imagine it being read aloud to a panel of three publishers. How long will it survive before all three panelists say STOP? Will your whole chapter be read without interruption?

On the spot feedback from panelists will spur you on to making your manuscript more attractive to a publisher.

Sunday 12th September 2pm-4.30

Free Event.

You will be sent a Zoom link prior to the event.
