Event Information
Enjoy a fabulous celebration of musical theatre, with a touch of opera, at the new Cooke Park Pavilion under the beautiful night sky of Parkes at Overture, Saturday 2 April 2022.
Starring Lucy Durack, one of Australia's leading stars of the stage and screen, and the dynamic Josh Piterman, who has graced the stage in lead roles in both Australia and the West End. Josh will be staring as The Phantom in the upcoming Opera Australia production of The Phantom of the Opera at the Sydney Opera House.
Lucy and Josh will be supported by the Central West’s own Jarrod Draper and Billie Palin, as well as other local and regional talent and an impressive orchestra made up of professional and student musicians to ensure a truly unforgettable evening.

Overture not only brings some of the best voices in Australia to regional NSW, but it also gives local students the opportunity to work and perform alongside them, including a massed choir, featuring children and adults from across the Central West.

Choose from the allocated seating section where chairs will be provided, or bring your own camping chair or picnic rug and find a space to relax in the beautiful park surrounds. BYO picnics permitted.
Gates open at 3.30pm, entertainment commences from 4pm.
This will truly be a night to remember - secure your tickets early as this is bound to sell out.
