Event Information

Lazy River Estate is excited to announce the creation of our inaugural ‘The Stock Route’ country music festival. The event will explode on stage on the 14th May 2022 and will join forces with the very best talent touring the country music circuit (their stock route).

It has been created somewhat selfishly by the directors due to their love of country music and will make country music accessible to the whole Central Western Region of NSW. The Stock Route Country Music Festival will become an annual event drawing visitors to not only Dubbo but the greater Central Western area.

Particularly, with live music returning from years of shutdowns; this will have a significantly positive impact on accommodation, hospitality, retail and tourism. The country music festival will take place on the grounds of Lazy River Estate, Dubbo, in partnership with our sponsors and Lazy River Estate.

Attendees and artists are promised a day of affordable and entertaining experiences suitable for all ages. We have a vision of food becoming a part of the experience, with multiple vendors encouraged to attend and that grows with the event over time.

After the devastation of the past three years, including droughts and COVID-19, we wish to shed a little ray of sunshine over the community. The festival will allow artists to get back to what they love doing and help promote our local businesses, generating jobs and an opportunity to celebrate the good things in life.
