Event Information
This course describes the skills and knowledge required to perform CPR in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines.
Learning Outcomes:
- Respond to an emergency situation, identify and minimise hazards, assess the need for CPR and seek assistance from emergency response services
- Perform CPR, following DRSABCD, in accordance with ARC guidelines
- Communicate details of the incident to emergency response services to improve patient outcomes
Terms & Conditions
- All candidates are required to successfully complete a written and practical assessment, including performing at least 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on an infant and an adult resuscitation manikin (which will require kneeling on the floor)
- All candidates are also required to complete a short online evaluation survey for WNSW PHN reporting and quality improvement processes
- Please bring a copy of your Ticket and your Unique Student Identifer No. to the training session for registration purposes
