Event Information

The aim of the gala dinner is to raise funds for the Bridge Art Project and also to encourage conversations with artists, funding programs and our local community by having key stakeholders in the room at the same time.

The eloquent Corinda Grant will MC the night.  Corinda is a senior English Teacher with Masters of Ed in Contemporary Literacy in progress, a marriage celebrant, a lover of words, voracious reader, adventurer and outdoor goer.  Her words are cleverly crafted and she has a wealth of life experience abroad and as a local here in Echuca.

Bendigo Artist and Yorta Yorta man, Troy Firbrace is going to be one of our guest speakers which we know will be inspiring and thought provoking.  He has recently been the key artist for the Bendigo Djaara Lights Activation.

Rach Kendrigan, independent artist, producer and regenerative practitioner from Mildura will speak about their partnership with BAP on the Borders project, and the importance of supporting place based, site responsive research and creative practice in regional areas.

A highlight of the night will be an Auction that includes incredible artworks and an Art Safari to Tanzania!

The gala fundraiser also coincides with the Moama Lights festival.

Last year’s gala dinner featured guest speaker and special guests Sigrid Thornton and her husband, Tom Burstall.  We raised well over our goal of $15,000 to go towards furthering the project and future of an arts centre for Echuca Moama.

We can't wait to build on the success of last year as we move into a new era for arts and culutre in Echuca - Moama.
