SMOKESCREEN 2024 SEASON PASS
Taking place at the Drama Room at the WPCC, Smokescreen brings Dubbo residents the opportunity to witness iconic and influential films from the history of cinema.
When we think about our favourite films, we often picture an iconic moment that captures something essential, Marilyn Monroe’s pink dress in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, blood cascading down the corridor in The Shining, Fred Astaire and Ginger Roberts gliding across the dance floor in SwingTime. These images leave indelible mark on our memories and consciousness. This year’s Smokescreen series ‘Scene Stealing Style’ looks at how art direction, the look and feel of a film can help tell the story. You may not have heard of the films on the list but each is iconic, and in its own way set standards and shaped later generations of film making.
Don’t miss out on this year’s Smokescreen Series get your season pass for $75. Smokescreen runs from February to November on the First Saturday of the month at WPCC.

Terms & Conditions
Season Passes are non-refundable. Season Pass includes a 'Buy one, get one free offer' at the Establishment following each film on presentation of your drink coupon. This is valid for the night of each film only and cannot be redeemed at any other point.
It is the responsibility of the attendees to check the classification of the film and adhere to the recommendations by the Australian Classification Board regarding age and suitability of the content.
The right of admission is reserved. The Western Plains Cultural Centre reserves the right to refuse entry to, or remove from the venue - any persons causing a disturbance, partaking in an activity not allowed in the venue (smoking etc.), conducting any illegal activity or refusing to comply with reasonable requests from management.
The Establishment Bar Dubbo is an 18+ venue, any attendees under the age of 18 forfeit their drink voucher.
Any personal information provided on arrival at WPCC is protected under the privacy and personal information protection act, 1998 (PIPA).
