LightenUp Lampshade Workshop at Narrabri Craft Shop

LightenUp Handmade Lampshade Workshop -

• Narrabri 6th April 2024
• Morning class 9.30am - 12.30pm 

Class Duration: 3 hours

Class Size: 8-10

• To hold the workshop we will also require large tables with enough space for each person eg. at least 1.5m of space for each person (we can also bring 2 trestle tables if needed)

Materials included:

• Lampshade PVC paper
• Double sided tape
• 30cmD or 40cmD rings
• Glue
• Shade reducers (allows shades to fit both euro and Australian standard light fittings)
• 1 x iron and ironing board
• Limited fabric scissors, metre rules, pencils and rubbers for people to share

Materials NOT Supplied:

• Each person to bring to class: pencil/normal scissors, ruler, fabric scissors if they have some and their own fabric

Fabric to bring:

• Small - 30cmD shade – 50cm high x 120cm wide (make sure it is either cotton/cotton blend, drill or linen as it is easier to work with, not shiny slippery fabrics or loose weave fabrics)
• Large - 40cmD shade – 50cm high x 140cm wide (make sure it is either cotton/cotton blend, drill or linen as it is easier to work with, not shiny slippery fabrics or loose weave fabrics)

We can also make available a selection of fabrics that we have in stock at the moment, if people can’t find fabrics etc.
