Event Information
Learn authentic 1950's Rock n Roll & Swing Dance lessons for the social dance floor. Adult classes & workshops for never danced before absolute Beginners to Elementry.
AIR-CONDITIONED VENUE - Large timber floor, plenty of space, no spectators.
Duration and cost: All workshops 60 minutes, $23 per person plus booking fee.
Location: Air-conditioned Venue: Holy Family School Hall, enter via Albert st -opposite Spicer Caravan Park.
Take the shuttle bus to Spicer Caravan Park.
About this Event
Beginners Line Dancing
Line dancing has been part of the social dance floor for decades in all styles of music from country, swing and rock n roll. And you don't need a dance partner! Learn some beginner-level line dancing for the festival. A different line dance each day.
Air-Conditioned venue, lots of space, timber floor. Please wear flat shoes. Arrive 10-15 mins ealry.so that we can start and finish on time.

About Sharee
Sharee has danced professionally in music theatre, a teacher of dance for over 30 years, originally a classical ballet teacher, transitioned to include teaching LA style Salsa, Urban Bachata, Rock n roll, Lindy Hop (Swing dance).
Sharee enjoys teaching the everyday person to social dance and takes pride in seeing the transition from people not being able to dance to rock'n on the dance floor. Sharee creates a fun and easy to understand environment to learn to dance.
