Event Information

In support of the 2025 NSW Touch Junior State Cup – Northern Conference, Dubbo Regional Council is offering sites for caravans, camper trailers and motor homes. Dubbo Showground is located in Wingewarra Street.
The venue is located 2.2km from Dubbo’s shopping and hospitality precinct and 3km from the playing fields located at the Riverside Sporting Precinct. For $220* (GST inclusive) you can bring in a Registered Caravan, Motor Home or Camper Trailer for three (3) nights, Thursday 20th, Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd.
Toilets and Shower Facilities are available on site.
Terms & Conditions
General Terms and Conditions
- All bookings must be made via 123tix.com.au.
- Your booking is confirmed once full payment for three (3) nights is received through 123Tix.
- The Dubbo Showground has been segmented and site locations will be released in response to demand.
- Sites only are available.
- Only Recreational vehicles that are registered are permitted: Motor Homes, Caravans and Camper Trailers. Annexures that are attached to the vehicle are permitted.
- No camping (Swags) or Tents are permitted.
- Accommodation bookings are not permitted to persons under the age of 18 years. All minors must be accompanied by an adult.
- No pets are permitted.
Cancellations
- Cancellations are to be made at the earliest possible time via email to showgroundsites@dubbo.nsw.gov.au.
- Only cancellations advised via the email address above will be accepted.
- Refund policy:
- If more than 14 days’ notice: 100% refund (less booking fee/credit card charges)
- Less than 14 days’ notice: No refund
Sites
- Sites are available for 3 nights for $220* (GST inclusive).
- Each site is allocated 1 x 15-amp Power outlet, each site is allowed 1 x extension lead from the power distribution board to their site.
- Not all sites have direct access to water. These sites are marked on the map and do have taps available in the area.
- Each site is responsible for the remove of general and recyclable rubbish to the allocated receptacles in each area.
- When making your booking via 123tix.com.au, you will be able to select a site. Sites for caravans, motor homes and camp trailers (no tents permitted) will be released as required and in response to demand.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
By making a booking, you are entering into a contract and agreeing to abide by the terms and conditions as outlined below.
- Any reference to ‘we’, us’ or ‘our’ is referring to Dubbo Regional Council and staff members.
- Any reference to ‘you’ or ‘Guests’ is a reference to any person who accesses Dubbo Showground under an accommodation booking.
- Guests are responsible for checking their details and ensuring they are correct when making a reservation.
- Those named on the booking receipt are responsible for all persons on their site.
- No visitors are permitted.
- A booking cannot be made for or by any person under the age of 18 years. A responsible adult must accompany such persons. Proof of age may be requested. It is the adult’s responsibility to ensure the safety and protection of all minors in your group during your stay.
Payment, Refund, and Cancellation Policy
- Your booking is confirmed at time of full payment.
- All bookings must be made by COB Friday 7 February 2025 – unless sold out prior. Council reserves the right to accept a booking after this date pending availability.
- Cancellations must be advised in writing via email to showgroundsites@dubbo.nsw.gov.au
- No refunds will be given for cancellations on or after COB Friday 7 February 2025.
- No refunds or discounts will be given for early departures.
- If you provide more than 14 days’ notice of your cancellation (advice prior to COB 7 February 2025), you are entitled to a full refund.
- If you provide less than 14 days’ notice of your cancellation, there is no refund.
- You may be refused entry into the Showground for any reason as determined by Council staff at our discretion.
Check in and Check out
- You must report to the Showground gate office and sign in on arrival.
- On arrival you will be provided with a copy of the terms and conditions as well as a site map showing locations, any restricted areas and the location of the emergency evacuation point.
- Check in is from 12noon – 7pm Thursday 20 February 2025 and check out is by 12noon Sunday 23 February 2025. Any booking who anticipates arrival outside of the advised check in time frame must advise the Showground team via email no later than COB Friday 7 February 2025.
Guest Behavior
- Guests are to behave in a manner that is respectful of each other, other visitors and nearby residents.
- Excessive consumption of alcohol will not be tolerated.
- Noise restrictions apply between 10pm and 8am. Quiet hours are non-negotiable and will be enforced.
- Management reserves the right to evict patrons from the Showground who are deemed to be behaving in a socially unacceptable manner, causing damage, disturbing guests, using unacceptable language or are in breach of any other Showground rules or these terms and conditions. You will not be entitled to a refund if you, your group, or a member of your group, is evicted.
- No visitors are permitted.
- Guests will be required to pay for any damage to Dubbo Showground, facilities or amenities. Failure to comply may result in the eviction from the venue.
- You must at all times comply with Showground rules and the reasonable requests and directions of staff, including speed restrictions in the venue.
- The Showground site has an 10km speed limit. NSW road rules apply.
Personal Belongings and Risk
- You must securely store your belongings.
- Please lock up accommodation, vehicles, bikes, etc. and remove any valuables, especially at night.
- Guests must hold comprehensive motor vehicle insurance for any caravan or motor home brought to the site. Evidence of insurance may be requested at any time.
Damage/Loss
- Council takes no responsibility for any or all loss, damage or injury which may be incurred by you or to any of your personal items, including to any vehicles, caravans, motor homes or camper trailers.
- By making a booking, you agree to release Council from any loss, damage or injury you suffer and indemnify us against any loss, damage or injury your party suffers. In these terms and conditions, ‘loss, damage or injury’ means any damage, loss, liability, cost, expense, harm, death or injury.
Power
- You will have access to 1 x 15-amp power outlet.
- You must bring your own power cords and they must be tagged and tested.
Use of roads – vehicles/bikes
- All internal roads are registered. Road rules apply.
- A traffic control plan will be in place and is included in the map. Please follow directions provided on your arrival.
- Bicycles, skateboards, scooters and any other wheeled objects may only be used and ridden in the Showground during daylight hours. Helmets must be worn at all times.
- Riding around amenities blocks, the Showground entrance, or office area is not permitted.
- Bicycles, skateboards, scooters and any other wheeled objects are ridden at your own risk. We are not liable for any injuries sustained from riding bicycles, skateboards, scooters or any other wheeled objects. Please ensure NSW road rules are observed.
Visitors
- Visitors are not permitted.
- Dubbo Showground is restricted to guests booking via 123tix.com.au
Waste
- All waste is to be disposed of via skip bins provided.
- Please ensure site remains clear of rubbish.
Toilets and Showers
- Amenities will be located within 200m from sites.
- Male and female amenities will be cleaned daily.
- If amenities need attention, please contact Showground Coordinators office.
- Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult when visiting the showers and toilets.
Dump Point
- A dump point is available and is marked on the map.
- Potable water
- Potable water points are located throughout the venue
Grey water
- Grey water is water from kitchen sinks, bathroom sinks and showers.
- Do not release grey water to any surface area at the Dubbo Showground. The grey water must be collected and disposed of at the grease trap located at the rear of the Expo Centre.
- A contractor will be engaged to monitor grey water and dump points.
Lighting
- Appropriate lighting will illuminate amenities during night fall.
- Lighting will be positioned to reduce light spill.
Fire Safety
- All caravans/motor homes are required to be fitted with operational fire alarms. Dubbo Showground may request an inspection to identify location of fire alarms.
