Sunday 23rd February - The Day after the 2025 Charity Shield
When you love sport and want to make a fun and action packed weekend of it, Mudgee is the place to be on the weekend of the 22nd and 23rd February 2025.
Mudgee is home to the classic Charity Shield clash between the Rabbitohs and Dragons again in 2025, and then on the Sunday Mudgee Race Club turns on another magical race day where seasoned punters, first time race goers, friends and families can come and have a great day out.
Join us trackside or at our Turf & Surf function where you will enjoy additional catering including finger food, cool beverages and entertainment. (Ticket details below)
Gates Open 12 noon
This great day out includes:
- an exciting race program
- varied seating options from trackside concourse to verandah and special Turf & Surf event
- relaxed concourse catering by Mudgee Race Club Canteen and Nackers Food Truck
- full bar
- some parking available on site, and some free courtesy buses run to and from some of the local pubs on the day

Pre Order Catering Packages:
Pre ordered Grazing Boxes include our regular race day favourites, The Lazy Oak Grazing and Cheese Boxes which can be purchased online when you get your tickets.
Please note, all Grazing Boxes must be pre-ordered by 4pm Friday 21st February. Pre-ordered Grazing Boxes can be picked up upon arrival at the Racecourse, from the Mudgee Race Club canteen. Proof of purchase must be provided by way of 123Tix information, name and receipt number.

Undercover Verandah (Non Members) $35
Undercover Verandah (Members - Outside of Members area) $25
Turf & Surf Function Lounge ($95 Non Members and $85 Members). Includes: Entry to races, finger food, entertainment, race book and 1 free beverage per person
ALL tickets include a free race book (for attendees over 18 years)
Terms & Conditions
- This a fully licenced premises, strictly no alcohol permitted to be brought onto the site
- No food or beverages to be brought on site
- RSA will be strictly observed throughout the day
- No pets allowed
- No ball games, balls, frisbees, balloons or other projectiles are to be brought into the venue
- There will be no wet weather clause for any undercover seating as a phantom race meeting will be held should the weather not be on our side
- Ladies and gentlemen entering the Fashions on the Field, a condition of entry is that your image/images may be used by Mudgee Race Club for future promotional purposes either online or in print. If you do not want your image reproduced, please do not enter the Fashions on the Field event.
