Event Information
Warren Rotary invites you to join us for a community event like no other. We are raising funds to extend the paediatric services in Warren. At present our paediatrician comes to Warren one day a month, for which we are grateful. But your children need and deserve more. This fundraiser has been organised by Rotary Warren and volunteers; this one is for the kids. It is for your family, your friends, your community.
Be welcomed at the Warren Sporting and Cultural Centre by local musicians, who have generously donated their time tonight. Start the night with a cocktail from Josephine's Drinks. Prefer a beer after a long day? Plenty available thanks to Warren Rugby Club serving and support from Warren IGA+Liquor.
Peruse the auction items, then be seated for a delicious grazing menu from Soul Food of Narromine, paired with wines from Warren IGA+Liquor.
Our guest speaker, Bernard Salt AM is a columnist, speaker, business advisor and social commentator. He defines demographic trends graphically -he identified the Seachange that became a Treechange, Any MAMILs in the audience? Yes, that’s you - Middle Aged Men in Lycra who love wearing their cycling gear, especially in our local cafe Ellerslie Lane. And lastly, he took the younger generation to task for enjoying their ‘smashed avo’ rather than saving. Bernard hails from a small country town in Victoria and his amusing insights into social change have resulted in him being one of the most in-demand speakers in Australia.
Lastly, as sweets are served, Trevor Wilson of AgNutrien Warren has donated his time to auction some incredible items. Just 12 auction items which will be hotly contested.
And let’s not forget what we are here for. Our new paediatrician Dr Iskander and the irrepressible nurse Nichole Callen will share a few words on their vision for paediatric services in Warren.
Ticket Inclusions: $149 includes dinner, dessert and entertainment.
