Event Information
SATURDAY is the main Show Day, and includes our major entertainment. FRIDAY is primarily a set-up day.
All Adults, and Children aged 5 and over require a paid ticket. Each ticket is valid for both days of the Show.
Whether you’re competing or just after a fun day out, the annual Gilgandra Show program includes animals, horse events, competitions, displays, and more to entertain and engage the whole family. Don't miss our Saturday night Ahrens Fireworks Spectacular. Bring the children to enjoy the carnival atmosphere of sideshow alley, and see horses, cattle, sheep, poultry, and pavilion exhibits. Check out our marketplace lane for some retail therapy.
Our authentic country show has showcased our town and district for generations, and is the perfect opportunity to catch up with locals and visitors. Gilgandra is the home of windmills and the Cooee March, with plenty of local attractions and scenic sites to visit while you’re here for the Show.
To minimise gate delays, limited tickets will be sold at the gates on Show days at $20 each. SAVE by buying online!
Terms & Conditions
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
Conditions of Entry for Gilgandra Show are available on our website www.gilgandrashow.com and at each gate on Show days.
Tickets include Showground parking until the carpark is full.
Gilgandra Show Society reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone engaging in anti-social behaviour including, but not limited to, intoxication, use of illicit substances, abusive language, racial or threatening remarks.
All tickets must be presented for scanning at the gate to obtain entry.
Pass-outs available from the Secretary's office.
No glass or alcohol is permitted to be brought onto the grounds.
Motorised scooters, E-scooters, hoverboards or electric skateboards are not allowed on the Showground.
Pet dogs are NOT allowed on the Showground reserve. No dogs permitted inside the Poultry pavilion at any time.
Competitors compete at their own risk.
Junior competitors under the age of 18 years are the direct responsibility of their parent or guardian.
All competitors in all categories must sign the respective waiver(s).
Gilgandra Show Society reserves the right to alter or cancel any event without prior notice.

Please note Conditions of Entry are subject to change in accordance with any Government Health Orders.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Unless required by law NO REFUND OR EXCHANGE will be given except for in the unlikely circumstances of complete cancellation of the Show by the organiser. Refund liability is limited to the total amount of the ticket purchase. The seller is not liable for expenses incurred as a result of the cancellation.
Refunds will not be issued for change-of-mind.
Refund policy
All ticket sales are final. No refunds or exchanges unless the event is cancelled by the organisers, where required by law.
