125th Anniversary of Banjo Paterson’s Bathurst presentation. On 26 and 27 April, 1901, Australia’s most famous poet, Banjo Paterson, presented lectures on the Boer War in the Bathurst School of Arts. Well known poet Gregory North is re-enacting Banjo’s tour and will present his show, The Life & Rhymes of Banjo Paterson. Greg is from the Blue Mountains and spends four months each year in Winton, Queensland where Banjo wrote “Waltzing Matilda”. Light refreshments will be provided after presentation.
