Event Information

A musical mystery tour through a world of never-before heard live music carefully matched with local wines. Be sweep away on a journey through sonic flavours and delectable tannins with four different performances at four different vineyards and carefully-selected matched wines. A bus will transport you and your friends as you vineyard-hop your way through an exciting program of world-class musicians and award-winning wines. A sensory experience not to be missed. The ticket includes four 30min concert performances of varying styles and genres; eight glasses of wine from 4 different vineyards and bus travel. Any additional wines or light snacks will be available for purchase by the guest from each venue. Your own picnic hamper may be brought to enjoy on the bus but no food or alcohol can be brought into the venues. 

The bus departs the Orange Visitors Centre, Byng St at 10:30am. Sustainable "keep" wine glasses will be available for purchase for use throughout the journey. The bus will return to the original pickup point at around 4pm.

Terms & Conditions

By purchasing or otherwise using a Ticket to attend the Tasting Notes Event, you (“you” or the “Ticket Holder”) agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.   ‘You’ and ‘your’ refer to the customer.  ‘We’, ‘us’, ‘our’ and ‘event organiser’ refer to The Vineyard Presents (ABN 50 616 757 129).  This ‘agreement’ means the purchase of one or more tickets for entry into the Tasting Notes - Music Matched with Wines (“Event”), and it includes these Ticket Purchase Terms (“the Terms”).

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Tickets are to be purchased online via the http://www.123tix.com.au website and will be sent electronically to the email address nominated at the time of purchase.

You will not be permitted on the bus unless you present a printed ticket or PDF ticket on your mobile phone for validation at the bus. Upon validation of your ticket, you will be issued a wristband (the “Wristband”) which you must wear on your wrist at all times during the "Event". The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to, or remove, any person not wearing a Wristband on their wrist.

You must have valid photo ID. Any inaccuracies in either your Ticket or your photo ID which prevent us from identifying you as the owner of the Ticket, may result in you being refused entry.

You must be 18 years of age or older to attend the "event". No refunds will be given to Ticket Holders who are unable to attend the "event" due to being underage.

2. The Organiser reserves the right to:

Confiscate any Prohibited Items found in your possession and/or refuse you entry to, or remove you from, the "Event" if you are found with Prohibited Items in your possession. “Prohibited Items” include alcohol, bottles, glass, animals, illicit drugs and any object that the Organiser considers may be used in a dangerous or offensive manner. Prohibited Items that are confiscated will not be returned.

Refuse entry to, or remove from the Premises, any person behaving in an intoxicated, antisocial, disorderly, aggressive, offensive or dangerous manner or in any manner which would be a potential threat to security or the smooth operation of the "event", without refund. 

Refuse entry to, remove from the premises, and/or report to NSW Police any person found to be in possession of, or apparently under the influence of, illicit drugs.

3. You may not, without the prior consent of the Organiser:

Resell or offer to resell a Ticket for a price higher than the original sale price, including via online auction;

Use a Ticket for advertising, promotional or other commercial purposes, including by offering a Ticket as a giveaway or prize for a competition or trade promotion; and/or

Use a Ticket in any other way to enhance the demand for other goods or services, whether they are yours or those of a third party.

4. Refunds and Replacement Tickets

The Organiser will not replace lost, destroyed, damaged or stolen Tickets.  

A change in your personal circumstances does not entitle you to a refund.

The Organiser reserves the right in its sole discretion to change the entry and exit times to the "Event", artist performance times, number of artists, special effects, without notice to you. The Organiser will not be required to provide refunds or other compensation to Ticket Holders if the Facilities and Attractions are changed. Amenities are the responsibility of the Venue.

The Event is an all-weather event.  It will continue in rain, hail or shine unless the conditions are deemed unsafe to continue.  No refunds will be made if you choose not to attend due to inclement weather.

We reserve its right to cancel the Event at any time due to a Force Majeure Event. A “Force Majeure Event” shall mean anything outside the Event Organiser’s reasonable control, including without limitation, fire, bad weather, damage to Venue Site caused by bad weather, rain, flood, drought, storm, lightning, act of god, explosion, sabotage, accident, labour dispute, council or police rulings or war. If the Event is cancelled due to a Force Majeure Event, or any other reason outside of our control, there is no right of refund or exchange, nor any obligation to arrange a substitute Festival.

We reserve the right to cancel or postpone the Event for any reason within our control.  In this case, you will be offered a refund for the face value of the ticket purchased.

5. Conduct of Ticket Holders

You must follow the directions of the Organiser and its staff (“Event Staff”), and vineyard personnel at all times during the Event.  

You must adhere to the Venue's safety requirements at each vineyard. No food or alcohol can be brought onto the vineyard property or cellar door / venue.

6. Intellectual Property

The Organiser uses the brand ‘Tasting Notes’ as a trade mark and is the exclusive owner of logos, artwork, photographs, videos and other material created to promote the Event (“Event IP”). Should you wish to use the Event IP other than for private, non-commercial purposes, you must obtain the prior written consent of the Organiser.

All audio recordings of the Festival performers are prohibited. Should you make any "Unauthorised Recordings", you agree that upon making those recordings, all copyright in the Unauthorised Recordings shall vest in and otherwise be assigned to the Organiser. You further warrant that you shall not use the Unauthorised Recordings in any manner whatsoever.  Unless you have been restricted by any other agreement, you may take photographs with still cameras however such images may only be used for private, non-commercial purposes and must not be publicly displayed.  If you wish to use a professional camera or video recorder, you must seek the prior consent of the Organiser.

By purchasing a Ticket and attending the Event, you consent to photos, videos and other recordings being taken of you and used by the Organiser for marketing, promotional and other purposes in its discretion (“Official Content”).  

7. Safety, Loss and Damage

By purchasing a Ticket and/or attending the Festival, you accept the risks and dangers inherent in a travelling music event including without limitation the risk of serious injury and death, and you acknowledge that it is your responsibility to take steps to protect your own safety and handle challenging situations that may present themselves. If you choose to attend the Event, you do so at your own risk, waiving and forgoing any rights to make any claims for loss and injury.

You must not cause damage to, improperly use, remove, steal or tamper with any public facility or vineyard infrastructure (“Festival Property”). You agree that you will be fully liable for any loss or damage caused by you.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Organiser does not accept liability of any nature for the acts, omissions or default of the Organiser or of any third parties providing services in connection with the Event or any liability for any death, injury, damage, loss, delay or additional expenses which may be incurred by you at or in association with the Event.

The Organiser will not be held responsible whatsoever for any loss or damage to any property (including without limitation personal property) brought to the Event, including property which is left on the Event Grounds following an emergency evacuation.

The Organiser does not accept liability for any injury, damage, loss, delay or additional expenses, which may be incurred by you as a result of a Force Majeure Event (defined above in clause 4), cancellation of the Event due to a Force Majeure Event or shortening of the Event due to a Force Majeure Event.

8. Without limiting the generality of any of the foregoing:

Appropriate footwear and clothing must be worn at all times.

It is your responsibility to determine whether or not you should use noise-reducing ear plugs. 

The Organiser reserves the right to arrange for medical treatment and/or emergency evacuation of any person if the Organiser in its sole discretion deems it necessary for the person’s safety or the safety of others. You consent to the Organiser giving you emergency medical assistance when required.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold the Organiser and its officers, harmless from:

Any demands, loss, liability, claims or expenses (including consequential loss and legal fees on a full indemnity basis) made against / suffered / incurred by the Organiser by you or any third party due to or arising out of your attendance at the Event or any breach by you of the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
