INFORMATION PACK

INTRODUCTION

As part of the 2017 DREAM Festival, the Twilight Market offers stallholders a unique opportunity to showcase their food, fashion or art to over 12,000 people in Dubbo and Regions. This free public event will see market stalls set up in Victoria Park and members of the public will be able to taste culinary delights, sample a variety of beverages and peruse market stalls. The festival is planning to be bigger and better than previous years with planning commenced for a kids dedicated area, bar area for the adults, larger DREAM lantern parade and two stages of live entertainment 

ACCEPTANCE & EARLY BIRD

  • Payment must accompany this form for your application to be considered
  • Any payments or applications after Friday 30 June 2017 will be at the standard site cost

STALLS

  • All stalls will be 3m x 3m
  • Your site fee covers the 3m x 3m space for your stall and no additional space beside, behind or in-front of your stall.  If you require additional space please book additional space

FOOD STALLS

  • Food stall holders are encouraged to provide food and beverages that showcase their business and talents
  • Feel free to dress up your marquee with lights to match the festival theme
  • Stall holders are responsible for supplying their own furniture, and all other items required for customer service
  • Stallholders are responsible for disposing of rubbish at the conclusion of the event.
  • Set up is to be completed by 3 pm

POWER

  • Stallholders need to indicate on the application form if they require power
  • Stall holders who have indicated that they require power must supply their own extension leads & lighting
  • As the festival will be partly held at night; all sites have included 1 power outlet for lighting
  • Stall holders must provide own extension cords
  • All electrical cords MUST be tested & tagged
  • To ensure enough power is supplied for ALL STALL HOLDERS, please ensure you list all power requirements.  If you have 3 items requiring power, list 3 outlets (10 or 15amp).  DO NOT list one outlet and then run a power board when you arrive on site as we are unable to ascertain how much power each generator will be required to host

LIGHTING

  • There will be limited lighting available. Stallholders are to bring additional solo lighting for your marquee as required

INSPECTIONS

  • Inspections will occur on the day by the event coordinator

WATER

  • Water will be available at the information tent; however stall holders are encouraged to bring water required for service needs
  • All stall holders serving food are required to have a bucket of water inside their marquee

CONTINGENCY PLAN

  • Wet weather contingency plan will be made at 12pm. New location will be the Dubbo Show Ground, McInnes Pavilion.  Check dreamfest.com.au on the day, if raining, to see if contingency plan has been implemented. In the event of relocation or cancellation no refunds will be provided for stall holder bookings.

GENERAL

  • Toilet facilities are the public toilets in the park (regular cleaning times have been booked in).  Additional portable toilets will also be available
  • Stallholder must take away your own rubbish at the conclusion of the markets
  • No alcohol is allowed in the park except in the designated area which will be manned by security

WORK, HEALTH & SAFETY

  • First aid, fire extinguisher and free drinking water at information tent area
  • Please wear enclosed shoes, long trousers and safety wear (if applicable)

DRAFT TIMING

TWILIGHT MARKET: 4 – 10pm

KIDS CORNER: 4 – 7 pm

BAR: 4 – 10pm

LANTERN PARADE: 8.00 - 8.30pm

Terms & Conditions

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Cancellation on or prior 30 June 2017 (100% refund; excluding booking fee)
  • Cancellation on or prior 31 August 2017 (50% refund; excluding booking fee)
  • Cancellation after 31 August 2017 (no refund)

SITE LOCATION

  • Whilst the organisers will do their best to locate your site per any specific instructions; no guarantees are given
  • Site locations are subject to change
