Join LVR aboard our historic 1920's "Tin Hare" Railmotors for a great day at the races! Horse races that is, not the dogs!!
On Sunday 15 March 2020 The Country Championships come to the Coonamble Jockey Club for the first time – the biggest social race day on the Coonamble Calendar.
This prestigious race carries prize money of $150,000, with the prize money on the eight race day totalling $370,000.
We are aiming not only for a great day of racing this year, but also the chance for a fantastic social family day out. With live music during the day, jumping castle, novelty races and Fashions on the Field. There will be group marquees, a luncheon marquee and of course a full bar and TAB facilities.

Cash bar available on board the train (no BYO please!).
Tickets are train fare only. Race entry to be paid on the day.
Depart Dubbo: 9:00am
Arrive Coonamble: 11:30am
Race program from midday til 6.00pm. You will have enough time for a meal in the pub before departing for return to Dubbo
Depart Coonamble: 8.30pm
Arrive Dubbo: 11:00pm
