West Words Festival presents: 3 Hour Workshop on Collaboration for Writers

Sean Williams was born in the dry, flat lands of South Australia, where he still lives with his wife and family and a pet plastic fish.

He has been called many things in his time, including (somewhat ostentatiously) “the premier Australian speculative fiction writer of the age” (Aurealis), the “Emperor of Sci-Fi” (Adelaide Advertiser), the “Lord of the Genre” (Perth Writers’ Festival), and the “King of Chameleons” (Australian Book Review) for the diversity of his published output.

Sean Williams, is a master of collaboration, having sold over 20 collaborative novels.

This hands-on workshop demonstrates how collaboration is easier than you might think, helping you overcome your fears and set you on a journey towards bringing your creative dreams alive.

Location - Community Arts Centre (building next to WPCC) in "Dance" room

West Words Festival is the annual premiere event for the Outback Writers' Centre

The focus this year is on speculative fiction, but with plenty of options for everyone.

There will be opportunities to meet with fellow writers and editors and the chance to learn, network and share ideas.

There will be representatives from publishing houses, opportunities to pitch your work, purchase the books of others, along with seminars and workshops on various aspects of the craft of writing, plus some fun events. Most of all, the festival promises to be enticing, exciting and inspiring.
