Your tour guide Peter Starr has a Masters Degree in astronomy and was a Manager at the famous Siding Spring Observatory, Australias largest optical telescope facility.

  • 1 hour and 15 minute show includes:
  • Powerpoint presentation in our theatrette.
  • Talk about what we will see and some basic astronomy.

View the planets, stars, and galaxies through our new 17" telescope in our new observatory.

  • Up to 6 telescopes depending on number of people attending.
  • View at least a dozen different objects through the telescopes.
  • Point out constellations, stars and planets with a laser pointer
  • Explain in detail about what you are looking at.
  • Answer your questions on the night sky and universe.

Astrophotography with your canon, nikon, pentax SLR Camera or bring your SD card for our camera. We take 1 photo of a colourful nebula at the end of the show for no extra charge. The camera needs to have a lens that can be removed. Mirrorless cameras are generally not compatible.

The show is limited to 10 people maximum due to the corona virus restrictions

This is an outdoor activity. So dress according to the weather conditions. In some summer months there can be the odd mosquito so either cover up or apply some insect propellant.
