West Words Festival presents: Surviving the Submission Spur

Imagine your first chapter is being read aloud to a panel of publishers. How long will it survive before the panelists say STOP? Valuable, on the spot, feedback from panelists will spur you on to making your manuscript more attractive to a publisher.

Panelists: Rochelle Manners from Rhiaza Press and Emily Lighezzolo from Wombat Books.

West Words Festival is the annual premiere event for the Outback Writers' Centre

The focus this year is on speculative fiction, but with plenty of options for everyone.

There will be opportunities to meet with fellow writers and editors and the chance to learn, network and share ideas.

There will be representatives from publishing houses, opportunities to pitch your work, purchase the books of others, along with seminars and workshops on various aspects of the craft of writing, plus some fun events. Most of all, the festival promises to be enticing, exciting and inspiring.
