Event Information

 Here we go again!

First, we take F1 to a place very few trains with passengers have gone before.. in to a working maintenance centre!! This may be the first and last time you ever get the chance!

After shunting Flemington Markets, we’ll then proceed around to the Bankstown line via Lidcombe with a few surprises planned. This may be the last time you can photograph F1 on this iconic line before Metro conversion commences next year!

We then charge through the city, over the ‘bridge and down to North Sydney Car Sidings at Lavender Bay. A few more shunts will then see us back at North Sydney where photographers may choose to catch a preceding local to Chatswood to repare for our planned cross platform photo stop with the Metro.

We then grind on to Gordon, stopping for a one hour dinner break before proceeding further north.. all the way to Cowan, which hasn’t seen a red set for nearly thirty years!

Once the sun sets over the Blue Mountains we will then proceed back down the Main North—the first true “night time running” for F1 with passengers since 2002.

This is a tour NOT TO BE MISSED!!!
