Musical Theatre Workshop with Ashleigh Chandler

Ashleigh Chandler is a Sydney based actor, choreographer and director. Dancing since she was 3 years old, Ashleigh has always been on the stage. Finding a particular love for musical theatre that led her on the path to pursue a career as an actor. In 2023 Ashleigh graduated from JMC Academy with a Bachelor in Acting. Her most recent performance was at downstairs Belvoir St Theatre as Mother Courage in the production of ‘Mother Courage and her Children’. Ashleigh has channeled her extensive dance training into her work as a choreographer. Having choreographed a number of eisteddfod pieces and musicals such as a production of ‘Mamma Mia’. Now she has moved into the realm of short films. Starring as the Dance Captain and choreographer for short films such as ‘Violent Days and Silent Nights’ directed by Isabella Lauren. Currently, Ashleigh is directing a short horror film, due for release in late 2024. Ashleigh is excited to return to Dubbo to inspire young dancers and ignite their passion for musical theatre and acting through these workshops.
