Where are the ticket sale proceeds held?
When you sell tickets through 123tix, the funds collected from ticket sales are held in a separate bank account. This is to ensure that if a ticket buyer needs to receive a refund or if an event is canceled, the necessary funds are available to be returned to the buyer.
Once your event has successfully ended, the revenue from ticket sales will be paid out to you. This payout typically occurs 5-14 business days after the event. However, if you are using a white label platform, the payout process may differ.
It's important to note that the funds collected from ticket sales are always held securely and separate from other finances to ensure that ticket buyers are protected and your event's financial transactions are managed in a transparent and professional manner.
Fees and charges
Our standard booking fee is $1 per paid ticket (GST incl) and our online credit card rate is currently 1.47%*. Some seated events incur an additional charge of $0.25 per ticket (GST incl).
Organisers can choose to add the booking fee and credit card to the ticket price or have them included in the ticket price.
For on-site sales via the Kiosk system, the standard booking fee is $0.50 per paid ticket (GST incl) the credit card rate is currently 1.85%*.

How and when do I get paid for my event
Event revenue is paid into the organiser's nominated account within 5-10 business days after the event has successfully concluded. We conduct all necessary checks during this time to verify the accuracy of the revenue calculations and ensure that the payment process runs smoothly.
However, we do not offer advance payments to event organisers except in cases where a government organisation is involved or if the organiser provides a bank guarantee. This policy is in place to protect the interests of all parties involved and ensure that the payment process is secure and accountable.
