FERMENTA FESTIVAL
A celebration of the fermentation process bringing together science, education and the best of regional produce for a one-day festival. Immerse yourself in this unique event set against the charming backdrop of historic Rylstone and Kandos in regional New South Wales.
Fermenta is proudly presented by Mid-Western Regional Council, together with Cementa and Mudgee Region Tourism.
TWILIGHT PICNIC EVENT DETAILS
Join us for the Fermenta's signature event, Twilight Picnic.
Nestled on the banks of the Cudgegong River in Rylstone, join Fermenta for a picturesque twilight picnic filled with local flavours plus stellar entertainment line-up.
Eat: Purchase a gourmet hamper, curated by Mudgee Made and enjoy the best local produce perfectly packed for your group.
Drink: The beverages from local wineries, and Aussie beers with Irish charm from Mudgee's Hop & Clover brewery.
Entertainment Line-up: Riverina-bred singer songwriter, William Crighton headlines an exciting lineup. A renowned storyteller, Crighton’s live show has been received to high acclaim across the world with performances at Blues Fest, WOMAD and Woodford Folk Festival
Supporting is Bathurst based alt-country duo Smith and Jones starting with a Welcome To Country and traditional Smoking Ceremony.
GATES OPEN: 3.30PM - 7.30PM
TICKETS
Ticket for 1 person - $85 (Includes event entry x 1, Gourmet hamper curated by Mudgee Made, drink token x 1 and four hours of entertainment)
Ticket for 2 people - $150 (Includes event entry x 2, Gourmet hamper curated by Mudgee Made, drinks token x 2, picnic rug - sitting in designated areas along the Cudgegong River, and four hours of entertainment)
ADD ON: Under 18's Ticket - $30 (Includes event entry, drinks token - sitting in designated areas with family group along the Cudgegong River, and four hours of entertainment)
GETTING THERE
Return Coach Service from Mudgee CBD - Departing from Mudgee 2.15pm. Return 7.30pm.
Parking - There is ample street parking within a 5 minute walk of Rylstone Showground.
HEALTH DECLARATION
By attending the Fermenta Twilight Picnic at the Rylstone Showground, you acknowledge that you will conduct yourself in accordance with the events COVID-19 Safety measure. By playing your part, you help ensure an enjoyable, comfortable and safe experience.
• Check in using the Services NSW COVID Safe QR code
• Remain seated unless using the restrooms or portable toilets or purchasing food
• Maintain physical distancing of 1.5m with people outside your immediate booking group particularly while queuing and moving through common areas
• Be aware that cashless payments only will be in use for beverages
• Practice high-level hand-hygiene using the sanitiser stations provided
• Stay home if you are feeling unwell or showing symptoms of COVID-19
• Stay home if you have been overseas or to a COVID-19 Hotspot in the last 14 days or if you have been in contact with someone who has been overseas or to a COVID-19 Hotspot in the last 14 days COVID-19. You are not permitted to attend the game if you have been instructed to stay home and/or self-isolate by NSW Health.
Refund/Cancellation
- Unless required to by law NO REFUND OR EXCHANGE will be given except for in the unlikely circumstances of cancellation of the event by the organiser. Refund liability is limited to the total amount of the Ticket purchase. The seller is not liable for expenses incurred as a result of the cancellation.
- Mid-Western Regional Council reserves the right to alter or cancel, without prior notice, any of the arrangements relating directly or indirectly to an event, for any circumstances beyond the Mid-Western Regional Council’s reasonable control. This includes the cancellation of an event itself. Mid-Western Regional Council’s maximum liability is limited to a full refund of the ticket price. Mid-Western Regional Council accepts no additional liability for travel, accommodation or any other additional costs incurred.
