At Legends at the Museum, experience an exclusive evening viewing of the National Motor Racing Museum taking in the rich history of Australian Motor Sport before sitting back to enjoy an intimate Q&A with legends of the Great Race Colin Bond and Paul Morris. Hear their voices shake as they relive some of their most memorable moments at Mount Panorama, including some of their most unforgiving minutes and uplifting triumphs that the  Great Race produces.

Catering served throughout the night with beverages available for purchase.

Limited tickets available. Tickets cannot be purchased after Sunday 28 November.

We recommend all patrons for this event be aged 16 or over. If you choose to bring children under the age of 16, they will be required to have a full price adult ticket, and there will be no special children’s meals available.

 

Covid-19 Restrictions

It is a requirement of the State Government that all persons at the Event who are 16 and over must be double vaccinated.

In order to adapt to the current health and safety recommendations issued by NSW Health, Legends at the Museum will be tailored to social distancing measures. We ask that all patrons who attend the dinner maintain social distancing and do not attend if they are feeling unwell or experiencing flu-like symptoms.

Please note Council is planning Legends at the Museum in accordance with current state and federal guidelines. The event format will be adapted should the guidelines change.

 

History of the National Motor Racing Museum

The National Motor Racing Museum celebrates the history, personalities and achievements of Australian motor sport. Take your spot on the starting grid and join us on an amazing race through the history of Australia’s most iconic race circuit surrounded by over 100 legendary racing cars and motorcycles.

While Mount Panorama and its world-famous Bathurst 1000 is at the heart of the museum’s displays, the history of the full spectrum of the sport is covered including speedway, motorcycle racing, drag racing, rallying, open wheel and sports car racing in addition to the heavily-popular touring cars.

Ticketing Terms and Conditions

  • Ticket sales are ONLINE ONLY. We will not be selling tickets at the door. We need to scan your ticket QR code in order to admit you. Online booking fees apply.
  • You are not to attend the event if:
    • You are aged 16 and over and not double vaccinated
    • You are suffering any symptoms of disease caused by COVID-19
    • You have tested positive to COVID-19 in the past 14 days
    • You believe that you may have been exposed to or may test positive for COVID-19
    • You have been advised or required to self-isolate or quarantine
    • You have visited an identified case location
    • You have visited an area that is identified as an area of concern or is subject to any government Public Health (Covid-19) Order
  • You must comply with the Venue's Covid-19 safety measures, maintain good hand hygiene and maintain social distancing between other guests at the event.
  • In the case of any person present at the Venue for the relevant event testing positive for COVID-19 or is suspected to have COVID-19, your personal information (and that of your guests) may be used and disclosed for the purposes of contact tracing.
  • Entry may be refused if tickets are damaged, defaced in any way or are not purchased from one of the NMRM Legends Dinner authorised points of sale.
  • You will not be eligible for a refund because of a change of mind.
  • You will not be eligible for a refund if you are unable to attend the event due to being unwell or due to concerns about Covid-19.
  • Please note that this event may be cancelled with minimal notice if we do not sell enough tickets to this event. If the event is cancelled due to this reason you will be entitled to a full refund.
  • If the event is cancelled for reason of government restrictions relating to any Public Health (Covid-19) Order, you will be entitled to a refund of the ticket price less any booking and processing fees.

Conditions of Entry

  • Ticket holders enter the venue at their own risk.
  • Attendance at the event and the right of admission is reserved by the Venue and the Presenter.
  • By attending the event, you agree to the Venue’s conditions of entry.
  • You must COVID Safe Check-in upon arrival to the Venue using the Venue's QR Code.
  • You must provide proof of vaccination upon arrival to the Venue.
  • The use of camera or recording equipment is strictly forbidden, unless otherwise specified by the event organiser.
  • You may be refused entry or required to leave the Venue if you do not comply with the Venue’s conditions of entry. Tickets will not be exchanged or refunded in these circumstanced, unless required by law (including the Australian Consumer Law).
