Event Information

Robb College Rural Focus Dinner Wednesday 24th July.

2019 will be the 18th annual key-note address by an industry speaker focusing on their life in Agriculture or Rural Australia and addressing a key issue(s) for the industry.

The event launches UNE Ag-Week. It is a black-tie event hosted by Robb College and is open for all students and industry representatives to attend.

The dinner will commence at 6.00pm at the Armidale Bowling Club.


Rural Focus Symposium Thursday 25th July.

2019 will be the 4th annual Rural Focus Symposium. This year's Rural Focus Symposium will focus on:

"Family or Corporate Farming?

Learning from each other; Don’t farm alone; Benchmark to the best"

• Best practice examples

• Lessons from Family for Corporate farms

• Lessons from Corporate for Family farms

The morning starts at 8.30am and comprises presentations from industry and UNE presenters with interactive panel Q&A sessions. It concludes at 4.00pm. 
Last year 170 people attended with 40% students to 60% from producers and industry.

Suitable for students, researchers, academics, producers, wholesalers, industry suppliers, and investors.

Hear from and speak with some leading representatives in the Agricultural space. What are the issues they are confronted with, how are they dealing with them, what is the latest management techniques these leading family and corporate farmers are using? Come and learn from others’ experience.

Rural Focus will help you build your network with current leaders, other industry organisations and our future leaders.
