SHUTTING DOWN YOUR TOWN TOUR
When Jimmy Barnes kicks off his national tour to promote his new album My Criminal Record, Tullamore will be gearing up to host an estimated 6,000 visitors to a music event that will boost the small, drought-stricken town.
What makes this event additionally noteworthy is that it is the only show in the tour schedule to include Troy Cassar-Daley and The Daisy Dukes.
The coming together of Jimmy and Troy will be a not-to-be-missed moment in music history.
Previously, the pair have performed Bird On A Wire together and Troy appeared on Jimmy’s song The Other Kind. Now, on My Criminal Record,
Troy has written a song for Jimmy. The single, titled Shutting Down Our Town, was written after finding inspiration from the book Working-Class Boy. The track was motivated by the closing down of the Holden factory in Barnes’ hometown of Elizabeth, a northern suburb of Adelaide.
“I changed a couple of words just because of local knowledge, but it was 99.999% Troy’s song,” said Barnes to Triple M. “...he played it to me and I immediately felt the connection.”

TROY CASSAR-DALEY
Troy Cassar-Daley has come a long way from the 12-year-old boy from Grafton busking at the Tamworth Country Music Festival. Even as he expands the boundaries of what he is capable of musically, as the diverse list of collaborators grows longer, as his swag of awards and size of his crowds has grown and grown, the innate integrity and charisma powering his music has always remained a steady true north.
THE DAISY DUKES
The Daisy Dukes, led by singer/guitarist Jesse Emmanuel (Phil’s daughter), is the highly anticipated support act. The Daisy Dukes is a live music concept presenting Australia’s best violin player together with a highly accomplished acoustic rhythm guitarist. With their incredible voices that stand strong alone or in gorgeous harmony, their repertoire includes some of the best songs from recent years, mind-blowing instrumental solos and

All-weather event
Jimmy Barnes Rocks Tullamore is an all-weather event and will proceed rain, hail or shine. You should assume a show is proceeding unless advised otherwise by the organiser or 123 Tix.
Should wet or unfavourable weather be forecast please ensure you come prepared. However, umbrellas are not permitted into the venue.
This event will only be cancelled or postponed if the site becomes unsafe for patrons, performers and staff.

Condition of Entry
It is a condition of entry that all patrons present bags, chairs and eskies for a full security search.

Parking and access
Car parking
There is no designated car parking area. Patrons are required to lawfully park within Tullamore’s wide streets. Haylock Street/Hoopers Hill Road will have limited access for pre-registered buses and mobility parking only.
Accessibility Access
Please be aware that this event is held outdoors and is open to the elements. Grass, gravel and uneven surfaces may be found on the site. If you require any assistance please ask one of our friendly staff or security.
