BOLD THINKING. BRAVE LEADERSHIP. REGIONAL IMPACT
Held in Tamworth on 5 November at the Tamworth Regional Entertainment and Conference Centre (TRECC), the Summit will convene regional decision-makers and changemakers to focus on the advocacy priorities and economic issues that matter most to regional business. The program is designed to translate discussion into action, strengthening the region’s voice on key policy, infrastructure and workforce challenges while identifying practical opportunities to drive business growth, AI, investment and regional impact.
Delivered by Business NSW New England North West in major partnership with The University of New England and the Tamworth Regional Council, this once-a-year, most anticipated leadership gathering provides a powerful platform for advocacy, collaboration and outcomes-focused dialogue that supports stronger business conditions, increased regional competitiveness and long-term economic prosperity for the region.
Hear from an outstanding line-up of regional, business, government and industry leaders as they tackle the big issues shaping the New England North West and the year ahead. The program will explore local government priorities, the economic outlook heading into 2027, the rising cost of doing business, regional growth and government priorities, critical thinking, practical applications of AI, workplace leadership and risk, and the infrastructure and policy decisions needed to secure the region’s future. Featured speakers include key-note speaker Tracey Spicer AM, acclaimed journalist, author and broadcaster; Professor Chris Moran, Vice-Chancellor and CEO, University of New England; Nathan Wallwork, Head of Economics & Policy, Business NSW; Alana Rafter, Australian Business Lawyers & Advisors; and Paula Martin, Executive Director, Business NSW, complemented by panel discussions with regional mayors, general managers and business leaders.
