Unrecognised Ticketing Charge
Unrecognised Ticketing Charge
If you notice a charge from a ticketing provider on your bank or credit card statement that you don't recognise, there are a few things you can check before reporting it as unauthorised.
Check Your Purchase History
Before contacting support, consider the following:
Search your email for ticket confirmations or receipts.
- Check your account purchase history (if applicable).
- Confirm which ticketing provider was used for the event.
- Check with family, friends or colleagues to see if they purchased tickets using your card or on your behalf.
Pending Charges
If a payment was declined, cancelled or timed out during checkout, you may see a pending authorisation on your account.
In most cases, pending charges are automatically removed by your bank within 5–7 business days if the payment was not completed.
Duplicate Charges
If you believe you've been charged more than once:
- Check whether multiple bookings were completed.
- Review your confirmation emails for duplicate orders.
- Contact the ticketing provider if you believe a duplicate payment has been processed.
Contact Support
If you still can't identify the charge, contact the ticketing provider and provide:
- The transaction date.
- The transaction amount.
- The last four digits of the card used.
- Any transaction or reference number shown on your bank statement.
This information will help the provider investigate the transaction.
