Auto Offer Rules

Auto Offer Rules

Auto Offer Rules automatically send a unique coupon code to customers after they complete a ticket purchase. They can be used to offer discounts on future purchases, encourage repeat attendance, or create promotions such as "Bring a Friend" offers.

Step 1: Access Event Management

  1. Log in to your account.

  2. Navigate to "Manage Events" and then "Current Events".

  3. Find the event you wish to create the coupons for and select “Coupons” in the “Event Options” column.

Step 2: Creating an Auto Offer Rule

  1. Click the "Auto-Offer Rules" button at the top of the Coupons page.

  2. Click "Add Rule".

  3. Give the rule a "Name", tick "Active" and complete the sections:

    • Trigger criteria – the trigger window, which ticket types trigger it, minimum quantity or spend, channel, and which customers qualify.

    • Delivery – the send delay (in minutes), and whether to send by email and/or SMS, with your message.

    • Generated coupon – discount type and amount, redemption limits, the ticket types it applies to, and who can redeem it (only the buyer, or anyone, e.g. for "Bring a Friend").

    • Coupon expiry – a number of days from issue or a fixed date, and an optional expiry reminder sent within 24 hours of expiry.

  4. Click "Save Rule".

  5. Use "Send test" to email yourself a test coupon from the rule and check how it looks before customers receive it.

Tips:

  • Test the Auto Offer Rule before making it available to customers.
  • Apply the rule only to the ticket types you want to trigger the offer.
  • Set an expiry date to encourage customers to redeem their offer within a specific timeframe.
  • Review your coupon reports to monitor redemption and usage.
